Orazio Moretti
CEO
Orazio Moretti is the CEO of Craft, the region’s leading experiential event, museum and exhibition design company based in Riyadh.
The company’s Middle East journey started in Dubai in 2005 as ‘Modelcraft’, after realizing the immense demand for architectural design and modelling in the real estate and construction sectors. Moretti swiftly seized the opportunity to expand and diversify in the region moving their headquarters to Riyadh in 2008. After carefully developing a specialized team of local and international talent, Moretti galvanized Modelcraft’s global reputation for delivering high-quality experiential projects.
In 2008 Modelcraft partnered with Saudi Arabia’s Al Gihaz Holdings which served as a pivotal point in the growth and development of the company. This allowed Moretti to further invest in business operations and develop the team to diversify the company’s wealth of technology led services.
Since their establishment in the Kingdom over a decade ago, Moretti and his team have achieved an enviable reputation by delivering several high-profile permanent and temporary projects including the design and build of JAX01, the Riyadh Metro Visitor Centre, the 2019 King Fahad Exhibition and Digital City permanent high-tech lighting display.
In March 2021, Modelcraft rebranded to ‘Craft’, reflecting the company’s rapid expansion across all areas of experiential development. Moretti is proud of being a small business success story in Saudi Arabia, growing in size, revenue and in the specialist fields of expertise they offer. He believes his commitment to community-based knowledge transfer, by employing and training many talented young Saudi men and women across all divisions of the team has been instrumental to their success.
